A sect of the Nichiren sect whose head temple is Taisekiji in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and whose founder is Nikko. Taisekiji was originally a famous temple of the Komon sect, and after the Meiji period it became independent along with other temples of the Komon sect. In 1900, Taisekiji alone separated and took the name Nichiren sect Fujiha, and in 1913 it changed its name to its current one. Soka Gakkai was the organization that protected this sect, but conflicts came to the surface in 1980, and the sect announced excommunication to the Soka Gakkai.
