A former town in Nishikasugai County, northwest of Aichi Prefecture. Located in the center of the Nobi Plain, it is served by the Meitetsu Inuyama Line. Suburban agriculture, mainly vegetable production, was once thriving here, but it borders the north of Nagoya City and has become a rapidly residential area. 9.98 km2 .
