A right-wing group centered around Akao Satoshi. Around 1925, Akao, who had shifted from a socialist orientation to a "nationalist movement centered on the Imperial Family," appealed to all sides for the need to hold a national foundation festival to counter the left-wing May Day movement, and held the first one on February 11, 1926. At the same time, Akao separately founded the National Diet (Chairman Uesugi Shinkichi, Advisors Toyama Mitsuru, Hiranuma Kiichiro, etc., Director Akao, Secretary-General Tsukui Tatsuo). Later, dissatisfied with Akao's radical anti-Soviet and anti-Communist direct actions, Uesugi and other influential figures left the group, and it took on a more personal character as an organization run by Akao.

赤尾敏を中心とする右翼団体。1925年ころ，社会主義的方向から〈皇室中心の国家主義運動〉へと転じた赤尾は，左翼のメーデーに対抗して，建国祭挙行の必要を各方面に説き，26年2月11日，第1回建国祭を挙行した。と同時に赤尾はそれとは別に建国会を創立した(会長上杉慎吉，顧問頭山満･平沼騏一郎ら，理事長赤尾，書記長津久井竜雄)。その後，赤尾らの反ソ･反共の過激な直接行動への不満から，上杉をはじめ有力者が脱会し，赤尾の個人的団体の色彩を濃くした。
