This manor was owned by Kyoto Rengeo-in Temple in Kishima County, Hizen Province, and corresponds to the area of present-day Omachi Town and Takeo City in Saga Prefecture. In the 951 Takeo Shrine Land Survey, the eastern limit is listed as "Nagashima Oji Chinsai-kuma." Takeo Shrine was the general guardian deity of the county and was located in the center of the manor area. The inscription on the back of the Yakushi Nyorai statue at Kankiji Temple in Takeo City reads "Nagashima Manor Io-ji Temple Joan 2nd Year October," indicating that the manor was established before 1172. It is believed to have been donated around 1164 when Rengeo-in Temple was built. Around 1292, the manor had an area of 1,517 cho. At first, a general executive officer was appointed as the manor official, but around 1226 Nakahara Suetoki became the general land steward. In 1237, Tachibana Satsuma Kinnari was appointed as the sojijito (general land steward). It is thought that the area was later included in Tsukasakisho, which was established around the 14th century, but the 1590 red seal document by Toyotomi Hideyoshi states that Nagashimasho had an area of 3,379 koku, and the name of the manor remained until the end of the Sengoku period.
