Written by Nishikawa Nyoken. Five volumes. Completed in 1720 (Kyoho 5). Nishikawa had his son Seiyasu dictate what he saw and heard in Nagasaki. It begins with the origins of Nagasaki and overseas trade with Nagasaki, and touches on the customs, human feelings, filial piety, heroic women and other personalities of Nagasaki, as well as local products and souvenirs. It is a valuable piece of Nagasaki history and geography. It is included in the Nagasaki Collection, Nishikawa Nyoken Isho, and Iwanami Bunko.
