Japanese: 観音山古墳 - かんのんやまこふん

This keyhole-shaped tumulus is located in Watanuki-cho, Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture. It was built facing almost north on the plains on the west bank of the Ino River, in the eastern outskirts of Takasaki City. It measures 100m in length, 56m in diameter at the rear mound, and 56m in width at the front. It is built in two stages and has a moat around it. It is missing roofing stones, but contains haniwa. In 1968, the Gunma Prefectural Board of Education excavated part of the row of haniwa and a horizontal stone chamber at the rear mound. The haniwa were found only on the top and flat middle part of the mound, with a house and chicken found at the top of the rear mound, a house at the top of the front part, and a person, horse, shield, and cylinder on the flat middle part.

群馬県高崎市綿貫町に所在する前方後円墳。高崎市東郊，井野川西岸の平野部に，ほぼ北面して築かれる。全長100m，後円部径56m，前方部幅56mをはかる。二段築成で，周濠をそなえる。葺石を欠き，埴輪を有する。1968年に群馬県教育委員会によって，埴輪列の一部および後円部の横穴式石室が発掘された。埴輪の樹立は墳頂および中段平坦部に限られ，後円部墳頂で家，鶏など，前方部墳頂で家，中段平坦部で人物，馬，盾，円筒の各種が検出された。
