Kanemasa Yonekichi
1892-1963 A labor activist from the Taisho to Showa eras.
Born December 8, 1892. Joined the Osaka Federation of Friendship Associations in 1917, and founded the Osaka Joint Labor Union in 1922. He was active as a right-wing leader together with Nishio Suehiro and others. After the war, he served as vice-president of the Japanese Trade Union Confederation, and in 1952 became its president. He also served as a National Public Safety Commissioner from 1958. He passed away on November 28, 1963. He was 70 years old. He was from Saga Prefecture.

明治25年12月8日生まれ。大正6年友愛会大阪連合会にはいり,11年大阪合同労働組合を創立。西尾末広らとともに右派指導者として活躍。戦後は日本労働組合総同盟副会長をへて,昭和27年会長に就任。23年から国家公安委員もつとめた。昭和38年11月28日死去。70歳。佐賀県出身。
