Born December 8, 1892. Joined the Osaka Federation of Friendship Associations in 1917, and founded the Osaka Joint Labor Union in 1922. He was active as a right-wing leader together with Nishio Suehiro and others. After the war, he served as vice-president of the Japanese Trade Union Confederation, and in 1952 became its president. He also served as a National Public Safety Commissioner from 1958. He passed away on November 28, 1963. He was 70 years old. He was from Saga Prefecture.
