Naishi no Tsukasa

Japanese: 内侍司 - ナイシノツカサ
Naishi no Tsukasa
One of the twelve offices of the Imperial harem under the Ritsuryo system. They served the Emperor closely, handling petitions and messages, and were in charge of the ceremonies of the Imperial harem. The staff were all women. Naoshi God of NeiLady NaishinosukeSamurai No-showFemale Nyoju etc.

律令制の後宮十二司の一。天皇に近侍して、奏請・伝宣の事にあたり、また、後宮の礼式などをつかさどった。職員は女性で、尚侍ないしのかみ典侍ないしのすけ掌侍ないしのじょう女嬬にょじゅなどがある。
