Born: February 3, 1889 in Copenhagen [Died] March 20, 1968. Copenhagen. Danish film director. After working as a journalist, he entered the film industry and made his directorial debut in 1920 with Praesidenten (The Judge). Many of his works have a strong Nordic mysticism and realism.
