Pressure cooker - Atsuryoku nabe

Japanese: 圧力なべ(圧力鍋) - あつりょくなべ

An appliance that uses the fact that the boiling point of water rises when the air pressure rises to create high temperatures and pressures inside and cooks food. It is also called a pressure cooker. It has an airtight, pressure-resistant structure, and the inside is kept at about 110-125°C and 0.5-1.3kg/ ^cm2 by a control valve. Domestic products are often made of aluminum, while imported products are often made of stainless steel or enamel iron, and domestic products are generally higher in temperature and pressure. It can quickly boil hard foods such as brown rice, beans, and meat until they become soft, and compared to cooking at normal pressure, less water evaporates and the fuel consumption is about half.

気圧が上がると水の沸点が上昇することを利用して内部を高温高圧にし，食品を加熱調理する器具。圧力釜ともいう。気密性，耐圧性に富む構造から成り，調節弁によって内部は約110～125℃，0.5～1.3kg/cm²に保たれる。国産品はアルミニウム，輸入品はステンレス，鉄ホウロウ製が多く，概して国産品のほうが高温高圧である。玄米，豆類，肉類等固いものを速く柔らかく煮ることができ，常圧での調理と比べ水分の蒸発は少なく，燃費は約半分。
