...The ballet was performed with music by Satie, art by Picasso, a libretto by Cocteau, and choreography by Massiné. In 1920, Maré R. de Mare and Bjorlin founded the Ballet Schweedor in Paris, which fully took over the experimental approach. Maré and Bjorlin decided to expand ballet itself by incorporating the most avant-garde trends in music, art, and literature of the time.
