Japanese: 唐蛮貨物帳 - とうばんかもつちょう

During the Edo period, seven types of accounts, including the Chinese Ship Cargo Account Book and the Dutch Ship Luggage Sales Account Book, were prepared by Chinese and Dutch interpreters and submitted to the Shogunate Accounting Office via the Nagasaki Magistrate, and are classified and titled according to the calendar year. They contain detailed records of the cargo items and quantities of Chinese and Dutch ships, the quantities and prices of goods sold, and the quantities and prices of Japanese goods to be exported. This collection contains 13 volumes from 1709-14 (6th year of Hoei - 4th year of Shotoku). These are extremely reliable sources of foreign trade from the Edo period. [Yamawaki Teijiro]

江戸時代，唐通事･蘭通詞が作成し，長崎奉行を経て幕府勘定所に進達された《唐船貨物改帳》《阿蘭陀船荷物売立寄帳》など7種の帳簿を，暦の年度に従って仕分け表題したもの。唐･蘭船の積荷品目･数量，売上品の数量･代価，輸出する日本商品の数量･代価などを克明に記帳する。1709‐14年(宝永6‐正徳4)の13冊を収める。江戸時代の外国貿易資料としてきわめて信頼度の高いものである。【山脇悌二郎】
