Issoryu - Issoryu
The name of a school of Noh flute players. It was founded by Nakamura Shichirozaemon of Kyoto during the Tenbun era (1532-55), and is currently active mainly in Tokyo. The current head of the school is Isso Yoji (1940-), the 14th generation.
