Frost damage - Gargling

Japanese:
Frost damage - Gargling

A phenomenon in which temperatures drop abnormally from winter to spring, causing damage to crops and young buds of fruit trees. The mechanism is the same as cold damage and frost damage. However, it occurs from late winter to early spring, and compared to frost damage, it causes more damage to winter-overgrown crops. In addition, frost damage can also include accidents such as frozen water pipes caused by abnormally low temperatures in winter (occurs when the outside temperature falls below -4°C) and traffic accidents caused by frozen road surfaces, and in a broader sense it can also include damage caused by frost pillars and frost heave.
