A group affiliated with the Genyosha that was active in Korea during the Sino-Japanese War. When the Donghak Peasant Army rose up in 1894, Suzuki Tengen, Uchida Ryohei and others crossed the sea in response to the wishes of the military and the Genyosha, who wanted to use this as the fuse to start the Sino-Japanese War, and joined a group led by Tanaka Sajiro and Takeda Noriyuki, who were already discussing Asian economics in the Busan settlement. Calling themselves Tenyukyo, the group of about a dozen of them left Busan in late June with the intention of supporting the peasant army, and made contact with the leaders of the peasant army in Sunchang, South Jeolla Province. However, the description in the "History of the Genyosha" that they made a pact with Commander-in-Chief Jeon Bongjun and conducted joint operations is highly doubtful.
