A Dravidian language and one of the official languages ​​of India. Telugu. It is mainly spoken in the state of Andhra Pradesh in southern India. The oldest document is an inscription from 633. It developed as a language influenced by Sanskrit literature. It is written in the Telugu script, which is a descendant of the southern Brahmi script. There are approximately 45 million speakers.
