This hot spring is located at the foot of Mt. Kinpu, 9km southwest of Tsuruoka city, Yamagata prefecture. It is a spring containing salt and gypsum. 43℃. It was once a lodging for ascetics climbing Mt. Kinpu, and a hot spring resort for the lord of the Shonai domain, and is crowded with hot spring visitors from all over Shonai. According to "Azumayu Zakki," it was a pleasure hot spring. It is called the inner sanctum of Tsuruoka. The hot spring water is used to produce bean sprouts and to promote the germination of seeds. 山形県鶴岡市，市街南西９kmの金峰山麓にある温泉。含ボウ硝石膏泉。43℃。かつての金峰山に登る行者の宿泊所，庄内藩主の湯治場で，庄内一円の湯治客でにぎわう。《東遊雑記》によれば，歓楽的な温泉場であった。鶴岡の奥座敷といわれる。湯尻利用の豆もやし製造，種もみ発芽促進を行う。鶴岡市街からバス。
