Terramare culture

Japanese: テラマーレ文化 - テラマーレぶんか(英語表記)Terramare culture
Terramare culture
A Middle to Late Bronze Age culture that flourished around 1500-1000 BC in the northern part of the Italian peninsula, west of the Panaro River and in the northern Apennines. Terra Mare means "fertile black soil" in the Emilian dialect. Hunting, livestock farming, and agriculture were practiced, and bronze and pottery were produced by specialized groups. It is related to the Urnenfeld culture of Hungary and Austria, and was first seen in northern Italy, before spreading to the south as well.
