1874‐1934
Italian labor activist. He joined the socialist movement in his youth, and in 1907 became secretary of the Parma Labor Chamber. He adopted a revolutionary syndicalist stance that emphasized direct action, and when World War I broke out he advocated Italy's entry into the war and participated in the formation of the Fasci Revolutionary Action. After the war, he assisted D'Annunzio in drawing up the Charter for the Independence of Fiume (occupying Fiume), and later returned to Parma to lead the anti-fascist struggle, but was forced to go into exile in France in 1923. イタリアの労働運動家。青年期より社会主義運動に加わり，1907年パルマの労働会議所書記となる。直接行動を重視する革命的サンディカリストの立場をとり，第1次大戦の勃発に際してイタリアの参戦を主張，革命行動ファッシの結成に加わった。戦後，ダンヌンツィオのもとでフィウメ独立国憲章の作成に協力し(フィウメ占領)，のちパルマに戻って反ファシズム闘争を指導したが，1923年フランスへの亡命を余儀なくされた。【北原敦】
