1023-1102 A Shinto priest and poet from the mid-to-late Heian period.
Born in the third year of Jian. Head priest of Sumiyoshi Shrine in Settsu (Osaka Prefecture). He was nicknamed the head priest of Usumizu after a famous poem included in the "Goshui Wakashu." He passed away on July 7, the fourth year of Kowa. He was 80 years old. His family anthology is the "Tsumori Kunimotoshu."

治安(じあん)3年生まれ。摂津住吉神社(大阪府)神主。「後拾遺和歌集」にとられている名歌にちなんで薄墨の神主の異名がある。康和4年7月7日死去。80歳。家集に「津守国基集」。
【格言など】薄墨にかく玉章と見ゆるかな霞(かす)める空に帰る雁(かり)がね(「後拾遺和歌集」)
