Precipitated copper - Chindendo

When iron is placed in a solution containing copper ions, such as a copper sulfate solution, the iron dissolves and copper precipitates. Using this principle, copper can be obtained by directing water from copper mines or water that has been sprayed on poor ore at mining sites to a trough or tank and then adding scrap iron. Because it contains a lot of impurities, it is combined with ore concentrate and used as a charging material for blast furnaces and converters. 硫酸銅水溶液など，銅イオンの存在する溶液中に鉄を入れると，鉄が溶解し銅が析出する。この原理を利用，銅鉱山の坑内水や，採掘跡の貧鉱に散水して銅分を溶出した水などを，樋(とい)，タンクに導き，鉄くずを投入して得られる銅。不純分も多いので，精鉱と合わせ溶鉱炉，転炉の装入原料とする。
