Zhang Lu - Choro

Date of birth and death unknown. A Chinese Taoist priest from the late 2nd century. Grandson of Zhang Ling (also called Tianshi), who established the Five Pours of Rice Way (or Tianshi Way), the beginning of Taoism. His father Zhang Heng was called the successor teacher, and Zhang Lu was called the lineage teacher (or the associate teacher). His pen name was Gongqi. Succeeding his grandfather and father, he established the teachings and organization of the Five Pours of Rice Way, and led a large religious group from Shaanxi Province to Sichuan Province for about 30 years during the warring era of the Three Kingdoms of Wei, Wu, and Shu. In 215 (Jian'an 20), he joined the Wei Dynasty's Cao Cao.

生没年不詳。中国、2世紀末の道士。道教の始まりである五斗米道(ごとべいどう)（または天師道）を始めた張陵(ちょうりょう)（天師とよぶ）の孫。父の張衡(ちょうこう)が嗣師(しし)、張魯は系師(けいし)（または係師）とよばれた。字(あざな)は公祺(こうき)。祖父、父を継いで、五斗米道の教えと組織とを確立し、魏(ぎ)・呉(ご)・蜀(しょく)という三国鼎立(ていりつ)の戦乱時代に、陝西(せんせい)省から四川(しせん)省にかけて、一大宗教集団を約30年間指導した。215年（建安20）魏の曹操(そうそう)の下に入った。
