A Buddhist ruin in central Java, Indonesia. It is located about 40km northwest of Yogyakarta and about 3km east of the Borobudur ruins. It is a mausoleum temple built by the king of the Syailendra Kingdom (8th-9th century), which flourished in this area. One theory is that it was built by King Indra, and it is estimated to have been built around 790-800. The entrance to the mausoleum temple faces northwest, and the main building on a high platform is 13.7m on each side. Three carved Buddha statues are placed inside the shrine.
