[1] A man from Ise Province. His name was Yoshimori. He was one of the four heavenly kings of Minamoto no Yoshitsune. He gained fame as a warrior by pursuing the Heike clan. [2] One of the 18 Shin Kabuki plays. Written by Kawatake Mokuami. The original title was " Mibae Genji Mutsu Nikki." It depicts the meeting between Minamoto no Yoshitsune and Ise Saburo. Ise no Samuro. [Additional note] In storytelling, it is often read as "Ise no Samuro," but in the Heike Masabushi, a score of Heike Kyoku, it is read as "Ise no Saburo." [一] 伊勢国の人。名は義盛。源義経の四天王の一人。平家追討に武名をあげた。[二] 新歌舞伎十八番の一つ。河竹黙阿彌作。本名題「莩(みばえ)源氏陸奥日記」。源義経と伊勢三郎との対面を描いたもの。いせのさむろう。[補注]語り物などでは「いせのさむろう」と読ませることが多いが、平曲の譜本である「平家正節」では、「いせのさぶろう」と読ませている。
