A book of institutional history written by Du You of the Tang Dynasty in China. It consists of 200 volumes, covering topics such as food (volumes 1-12), elections (volumes 13-18), official duties (volumes 19-40), rituals (volumes 41-140), music (volumes 141-147), military affairs (volumes 148-162), punishment (volumes 163-170), prefectures and counties (volumes 171-184), and border defense (volumes 185-200). It records the changes in the system from ancient times to the Tianbao period (742-756) of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, and is a fundamental document for the study of the Tang system. Work began in the first year of the Dali era (766), and it took more than 30 years to complete the first draft, which was subsequently supplemented. Later, by the Qing dynasty, similar works were compiled based on this one and called the "Three Tongs," "Nine Tongs," "Ten Tongs," etc., but this work is ranked first.

中国，唐の杜佑 (とゆう) の著わした制度史の書。 200巻。食貨 (巻1～12) ，選挙 (巻 13～18) ，職官 (巻 19～40) ，礼 (巻 41～140) ，楽 (巻 141～147) ，兵 (巻 148～162) ，刑 (巻 163～170) ，州郡 (巻 171～184) ，辺防 (巻 185～200) から成立している。上古から唐の玄宗の天宝年間 (742～756) までの制度の変遷を記し，唐制研究の基本的文献。大歴1 (766) 年に着手し，三十余年を費やして初稿が成り，その後も補筆されたと考えられている。その後，清代までに本書にならって類似の書が編纂され，『三通』『九通』『十通』などと呼ばれているが，本書はその首位におかれている。
