Danu was the goddess of fertility and wealth, Lugh the god of the sun, light and wisdom, Lir the god of the sea and king of the land of ever youth with his son Mananann, Dagda the god of the earth, Ogma the god of eloquence and poetry and the inventor of the oldest Celtic writing system, Angus Og the god of beauty, youth and love, Nuada the god of war and Morrigan the goddess of war who roamed the battlefields in search of death and blood. Moreover, when the Dana Giants (another name for the race of the goddess Danu) were defeated by the Mailisians, they fled across the sea and created and lived in the Land of Eternal Youth, and are believed to still exist today as an invisible race of fairies called the Sidh, who hid in the ruins of earthen mounds and circular earthen forts, or in stone trenches and burial mounds, and had an underground paradise. *Some of the terminology that mentions "Nuada" is listed below.
