A pottery factory in Chelsea, a suburb of London. Opened around 1730. Initially produced porcelain imitating Meissen porcelain, Sèvres porcelain, and Japanese Kakiemon style porcelain. At its peak from 1758 to 1770, it produced gorgeous Rococo-style products with gold glazes, but was absorbed into the Derby Manufactory in 1770 and closed in 1785.
