Basidiomycetes, order Matsutake, family Amanita. It grows scattered on the ground in forests in summer and autumn. Its cap is 7-15cm in diameter and its stem is 8-20cm long, and it is very similar to Amanita. When fully opened, it becomes flat, has a brim at the top of the stem, and a large, pouch-like pot at the base. It is gray-green or pale green-yellow, with white flesh and a white spore pattern. It is highly poisonous.
