Kimaji - Kino Maro

Japanese: 紀麻路 - きのまろ

?-? A nobleman from the Nara period.
Father of Ki Hirona and Ki Hironiwa. In 743, he became a councilor, and in the first year of Tenpyo Shoho, he was appointed Junior Third Rank and Chunagon. Later, he also served as the Minister of Ceremonies and Dazai no Sochi. According to the Shoku Nihongi, in the ninth year, he plotted with Empress Koken and Fujiwara no Nakamaro to depose the Crown Prince Funato and install Ooi (Emperor Junnin), but his whereabouts after that are unknown.

紀広名(ひろな),紀広庭の父。天平(てんぴょう)15年(743)参議となり,天平勝宝元年従三位,中納言。のち式部卿,大宰帥(だざいのそち)をかねる。「続(しょく)日本紀」によると,9年孝謙天皇,藤原仲麻呂らと,皇太子道祖(ふなど)王を廃して大炊(おおい)王(淳仁天皇)をたてる策をねったというが,その後の消息は不明。
