Durbin-Watson ratio

It is one of the statistics to test whether there is autocorrelation in the disturbance term in a linear regression model, and was proposed by J. Durbin and GS Watson in 1950, and a table of critical values for the test was given. The Durbin-Watson ratio is usually represented by the symbol d , and d generally takes a value in the range of (0, 4), with a value closer to 0 if the disturbance term has positive autocorrelation and a value closer to 4 if the disturbance term has negative autocorrelation.
