Born on January 5, 1236. Son of Tachiiri Munenaga. Worked as a Doso (financial agent) in Kyoto. Served as a Kinri Mikurashiki (financial officer) in the Imperial Court, and visited Oda Nobunaga as an envoy for Emperor Ogimachi, encouraging him to enter Kyoto. In 1571, he mediated a peace agreement between Nobunaga and Ishiyama Hongan-ji Temple. He compiled what he saw and heard in the Tachiiri Munenaga-ki. He died on September 26, 1236.
