The act of developing housing land with consideration for urban planning. It differs from simple housing land development in that it takes into account the geographical relationship with related cities, traffic and transportation, and also develops urban functions such as schools, daycare centers, roads, urban parks, and water and sewerage systems. The developers are public institutions such as the Housing Supply Corporation and the Urban Renaissance Agency, as well as private companies, but the supply volume is mostly provided by public institutions. There are two methods for housing land development: the land readjustment method and the full purchase method, and the method used is determined by the scale and regional characteristics.
