A scholar from the Northern and Southern Liang dynasty in China. Also called "Kokan" or "Ougan". A native of Wu County, Jiangsu. He studied under He Wei and was given the title of Imperial Assistant. During the reign of Emperor Wu, he was a Sanqi officer in the Inwai Department. He compiled and presented the "Liji Lectures". His works include "A Commentary on the Analects of Confucius" ( 488-545 ). 中国、南北朝梁の学者。「こうかん」「おうがん」ともいう。江蘇呉県の人。賀瑒(がよう)に師事し、国子助教を授けられる。武帝のとき、員外散騎侍郎。「礼記講疏」を撰して奏上した。著に「論語義疏」など。(四八八‐五四五)
