Stone knife - Ishibocho
A flat, polished stone tool with a rectangular or crescent shape that was probably used for harvesting grains. It usually has a blade on one side and several holes in the center. It is widely distributed in Japan, Korea, China, India, etc., and is associated with the Yayoi culture (Yayoi period) in Japan, and the Yangshao culture and Longshan culture in China.

穀類の収穫に用いたと思われる,長方形ないし半月形の扁平な磨製石器。ふつう一方に刃がつき,石器の中央に数個の穴がある。日本,朝鮮,中国,インドなどに広く分布し,日本では弥生(やよい)文化(弥生時代),中国では仰韶(ぎょうしょう)文化,竜山文化に伴う。
