Matsuo Takagaki

Born December 13, 1890. Studied at the University of Chicago. Became a professor at his alma mater, Rikkyo University, in 1922. Contributed to English Youth, English Studies, and other publications, and worked to introduce American literature after World War I. Died September 13, 1940. Age 51. Born in Kanagawa Prefecture.
