An exhibition held in Munich by the Nazis in 1937. When Goebbels became Minister of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda in March 1933, the Nazis intensified their cultural control, expelling Jewish museum staff, confiscating modern art, and holding exhibitions to display the confiscated works (such as the "Reflections of Depravity in Art" exhibition in Dresden, the "Cultural Bolshevism" exhibition in Mannheim, the "Haunted House of Art" exhibition in Nuremberg, and the "Degenerate Art" exhibition in Karlsruhe). In September of the same year, the Reich Cultural Center was established, which only registered writers, artists, and journalists with Aryan certificates and allowed censorship of all forms of expression. A. Ziegler, who became the director of the center, planned a large-scale traveling exhibition of confiscated works, and launched a major campaign on the opening day of the first Munich exhibition in June 1937, with Hitler and Goebbels in attendance.
