Taisho calendar (English spelling)

Japanese: 太初暦 - たいしょれき（英語表記）Tài chū lì

This calendar system was implemented in China in the first year of Taichu under Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty (104 BC). It was first created by Deng Ping and was also called the 81-minute system because one lunar month was 29 days + 43/81 days. One tropical year was 365 days + 385/1539 days. Sima Qian, Latsukaku and others participated in the calendar reform, and the calendar was revised to start with the fifth month of summer, and the Qin dynasty's Zhuanxu calendar, which had been used since the beginning of the Han Dynasty, was replaced by the New Year's calendar, the winter solstice was fixed in November, and months without a middle period were leap months. The Santong calendar was revised by Liu Xin.

中国，漢の武帝の太初1年(前104)から施行された暦法。はじめ鄧平が作り1朔望月を29日＋43/81日としたので八十一分法ともよばれた。1回帰年は365日＋385/1539日。改暦には司馬遷，落下閎（らつかこう）らが参加し，夏5月をもって暦を改め，漢初以来，秦の顓頊暦（せんぎよくれき）を襲って10月歳首としていたのを正月歳首とし，冬至は11月に固定し，中気のない月を閏月とする方法を採用した。三統暦は劉歆（りゆうきん）がこれを補修したもの。
