Szondi test

Japanese: ソンディ・テスト(英語表記)Szondi test
Szondi test
A personality test created in 1947 by Hungarian-born psychiatrist L. Szondi. Based on his unique theory of depth psychology (fate psychology), it is intended to elucidate the motivated nature of the familial unconscious and impulse pathology. Subjects are shown six sets of eight photographs of faces of mentally ill people (homosexuality, sadism, epilepsy, hysteria, catatonic schizophrenia, paranoid schizophrenia, depression, mania), and are asked to choose two faces from each set that they like (+) and dislike (-), and the test attempts to grasp personality tendencies from the quantitative relationship between the types and the (+) and (-).
