Naosuke Soga

Japanese: 曾我尚祐 - そがなおすけ

1558-1626 Azuchi-Momoyama - A court noble family in the early Edo period.
Born in the first year of the Eiroku era. Son of Soga Sukenori. After the fall of the Muromachi Shogunate, he served Oda Nobukatsu, and was later replaced by Toyotomi Hideyoshi on the recommendation of Hosokawa Yusai. In the fifth year of the Keicho era, he served Tokugawa Ieyasu, and passed on historical facts and calligraphy. He passed away on February 10th in the third year of the Kanei era. He was 69 years old. He was known as Matarokuro. His works include "Zayusho" and "Soga-ryu Shorei".

1558－1626　織豊-江戸時代前期の有職(ゆうそく)家。
永禄(えいろく)元年生まれ。曾我助乗(すけのり)の子。室町幕府がほろびたあと織田信雄につかえ,のち細川幽斎の推挙で豊臣秀吉にめしかかえられる。慶長5年徳川家康につかえ,故実や書法をつたえた。寛永3年2月10日死去。69歳。通称は又六郎。著作に「座右抄」「曾我流書礼」など。
