…Most of the calligraphy in Korea from Unified Silla and the first half of the Goryeo Dynasty remains in the form of metal and stone, especially monuments and tombstones, but many have been lost due to the quality of the stone, the climate, wars, etc. This period was the heyday of the calligraphy style (European calligraphy) of the father and son Ouyang Xun and Ouyang Tong of the Tang Dynasty.
