Sadamori So
Year of death: 22 June 1452 (9 July 1452)
Year of birth: Year of birth unknown. Military commander of the Muromachi period. Shugo of Tsushima. Childhood name Tsutsukumamaru. Hikoroku, Minister of Justice. Son of Sadashige. After his father's death, he succeeded him, but because he was still a child, he was unable to suppress the power of the wako pirates, and Korea considered Tsushima to be their base, and in 1419 (Oei Invasions), Tsushima was suddenly attacked. At one point, control of Tsushima was taken over by Hayada Saemontaro, the leader of the wako, but he later restored relations with Korea and worked to establish control over the island. In 1438 (Eikyō 10), he established the Bunbin system, which required those traveling to Korea to have a Bunbin (travel certificate) from the Lord of Tsushima, the Mune clan, and in 1443 (Kakitsu 3), he concluded the Kihai Treaty with Korea, gaining the right to send 50 envoys per year.
