In summer, it produces cymes at the ends of the branches and produces crimson flowers about 4 cm in diameter. It has five petals with several irregular notches at the tip. Another species of the same genus, Suisenno (Suisenno), is native to southern Europe and is also called flannel because it is covered with white fluff all over. It produces purple-red flowers with long stalks from summer to autumn. It is cultivated in gardens and for cut flowers. Fusigurosenno is a Japanese specialty that grows wild in semi-shaded areas in the mountains. It grows to a height of 80 cm, has high nodes, and is tinged with purple-black.
