1877‐1968 American female dancer. Some say she was born in 1880. Before making her debut as a creative dancer, she worked as an actress, toe dancer, model, and other professions. In 1904, she saw a statue of the goddess Isis on an Egyptian cigarette poster, which prompted her to embark on the path of artistic dance. She conceived a dance piece called Egypt, but gave up due to financial reasons. Instead, she created a small production of Indian dance, Radha, which was successfully presented in New York in 1906. 1877‐1968 アメリカの女流舞踊家。
