(Abbreviation for "All Japan Post Workers' Union") This is the successor to the All Japan Post Employees' Union, which was formed in 1946 as a labor union for Ministry of Communications employees. In June 2004, it changed its name to the Japan Post Public Workers' Union (JPU), and in October 2007, following the privatization and division of Japan Post, it merged with the All Japan Post Workers' Union (Zenyusei) to form the Japan Post Group Workers' Union (JP Workers' Union). 《「全逓信労働組合」の略称》昭和21年(1946)に逓信省職員の労働組合として結成された全逓信従業員組合の後身。平成16年(2004)6月に日本郵政公社労働組合(JPU)へ名称変更し、さらに平成19年(2007)10月日本郵政公社の民営・分社化に伴い、全日本郵政労働組合(全郵政)と組織統合して日本郵政グループ労働組合(JP労組)を結成した。
