Seion - Clear sound

Japanese: 清音 - せいおん

A general term for Japanese moras written without voiced or semi-voiced consonants when writing kana. The moras that appear in the original Japanese syllabary (including yo-on) are unvoiced sounds. Some people refer to only the ka, sa, ta, and ha rows, which are contrasted with dull sounds. In the former sense, unvoiced sounds do not necessarily correspond to the voicelessness or voicedness of the consonants that make up the mora, and the distinction between unvoiced and voiced sounds. Among the unvoiced sounds, the ka row (/k-/), sa row (/s-/), ta row (/t-/ /c-/), and ha row (/h-/) are voiceless, while the a row (/'-/), na row (/n-/), ma row (/m-/), ya row (/ 'j-/), ra row (/r-/), and wa row (/ 'w-/) are voiced. The names of clear and voiced sounds seem to have been taken from Chinese phonology, but in Japan, the meaning is as above due to the relationship with the kana notation. In the Yunjing, (Full) Qing means voiceless and aspirated (laryngeal) sounds, next Qing means voiceless and aspirated sounds, (Full) Duang means voiced sounds, and Qing Duang means nasal sounds, liquid sounds, etc.

Kiyone

This is an old village area in the southern part of Soja City, in the southern part of Okayama Prefecture. It is located on the left bank of the downstream Takahashi River. In 2005, it merged with Soja City and Yamate Village to form Soja City. It is a key transportation location where the old Sanyo Road crosses the Takahashi River, and Fukuyama (302m) at the eastern end is an ancient battlefield from the Nanboku-cho period. It was a farming village that cultivated rice and rush, but it is now a commuter town in the northern suburbs of Kurashiki City. Part of it belongs to the Kibiji Fudoki-no-Oka Prefectural Natural Park.

かな表記の際に濁音符，半濁音符をつけないで書き表わす日本語のモーラの総称。元来の五十音図 (拗音を含む) に出てくるモーラは清音である。人により，濁音と対立のあるカ，サ，タ，ハ行音のみをさすこともある。前者の意味の清音の場合は，そのモーラを構成する子音の無声性，有声性と，清音，濁音の区別とは必ずしも一致しない。清音のうちカ行 (/k-/) ，サ行 (/s-/) ，タ行 (/t-/ /c-/) ，ハ行 (/h-/) は無声であるが，ア行 (/'-/) ，ナ行 (/n-/) ，マ行 (/m-/) ，ヤ行 (/ 'j-/) ，ラ行 (/r-/) ，ワ行 (/ 'w-/) は有声である。清音，濁音の名称そのものは中国音韻学からとったらしいが，日本ではかな表記との関係で内容が上記のようになった。『韻鏡』では (全) 清は無声無気 (喉頭化) 音，次清は無声有気音，(全) 濁は有声音，清濁は鼻音，流音などを表わす。

きよね

岡山県南部，総社市南部の旧村域。高梁川下流左岸にある。 2005年総社市，山手村と合体し総社市となった。旧山陽道の高梁川渡河点にあたる交通の要地で，東端の福山 (302m) は南北朝時代の古戦場。イネ，イグサを栽培する農村であったが，倉敷市の北郊にありベッドタウン化した。一部は吉備路風土記の丘県立自然公園に属する。
