A typical European Neanderthal originating from the Würm Glacial Period. Discovered in 1866 in the Spee Cave in Namur, Belgium. Three human bones were found buried on a terrace in the cave facing south, slightly above the Amur Riverbed, including one full adult male and female skeleton and a free juvenile lower leg bone. Associated animal fossils include mammoths, bears, and wild buffalo. Cultural remains discovered include stone and bone tools from the Mousterian culture.
