Numerology

It is a form of divination using numbers, also known as numerology. It uses a unique formula based on the person's birth date, name, and other information to predict innate personality and fortune trends. It is said to have been founded by the Greek mathematician Pythagoras. It is often linked to "Kabbalah thought," and its principles are also incorporated and applied in astrology, tarot cards, the Enneagram, and more. 数字を用いた占術のひとつで、数秘術ともいう。占う人物の生年月日や姓名などから、固有の計算式に基づいて、先天的な個性や、運勢傾向やを占う。ギリシャの数学者・ピタゴラスが創始者とされている。「カバラ思想」と結び付けられることが多く、その原理は占星術、タロットカード、エニアグラムなどにも取り入れられ、応用されている。
