Aobeka Monogatari - Aobeka Monogatari

A series of short stories by Yamamoto Shugoro. It was serialized in the magazine Bungeishunju in 1960. Set in the fictional town of Urakasu, modeled on Urayasu, the story depicts the human drama of a fishing town in the early Showa period. 山本周五郎による連作短編小説。昭和35年（1960）「文芸春秋」誌に連載。浦安をモデルとする架空の町「浦粕」を舞台に、昭和初期の漁師町の人間模様を描いた作品。昭和36年（1961）、文芸春秋読者賞に選ばれたが受賞辞退。
