[1] 〘名〙中世以降、伊勢神宮の神領地などゆかりのある土地に内外二宮の神霊を勧請(かんじょう)した神社。また、戦国末期から、伊勢の大神が一夜にして各地を飛び移るという信仰を生じ、これを飛神明(とびしんめい)と称した。江戸の芝神明（芝大神宮）、大阪天満の神明社などが有名。神明宮。[2][一] 秋田市土崎港中央にある神社。旧県社。祭神は天照大神(あまてらすおおみかみ)。慶長年間（一五九六‐一六一五）藩主佐竹氏ゆかりの商人川口彌左衛門が創始し、元和六年（一六二〇）現在地に社殿を建立(こんりゅう)。[二] 福井県鯖江市水落町にある神社。旧県社。祭神は天照大神。安康天皇の代の創建ともいう。大治四年（一一二九）湯の花山（神明山）から移し社殿を建立。神明神社。お神明さん。
