A research book written in preparation for the compilation of the Shinto Records section of the Dai Nihonshi. 17 volumes. Written by Kurita Hiroshi. Published in 1873. Volumes 1 to 4 describe the history of Shinto from the beginning of the world to the reign of Emperor Gokomatsu, Volume 5 describes regular and special ceremonies, Volumes 6 to 16 describe the locations, origins, and history of all the shrines listed in the Shiki-nai (ceremonial rituals) in Japan, as well as the Shiki-ge deities not listed in the Shiki-ge (ceremonial rituals). Volume 17 describes the Jingikan (shrine administration office), Ise Shrine, and Izumo Taisha Shrine as palace systems, and also touches on priests and investiture. In 1873, the Shinto Records and Records of the Shinto Records were also completed. In 1927, the Kocho Hikyu Publishing Society published the Shinto Records and Records of the Shinto Records. 《大日本史》のうち〈神祇志〉の編纂準備のため記された研究書。17巻。栗田寛(くりたひろし)著。1873年の成立。第1巻〜第4巻が天地開闢より後小松天皇の代までの神祇の沿革,第5巻が恒例・臨時の祭儀,第6巻〜第16巻に全国の式内社の所在・由緒・沿革等のほか,式外(しきげ)諸神について記す。第17巻には宮殿の制として神祇官・伊勢神宮・出雲大社について記し,神官・叙位などについても論及している。なお1873年には《神祇史料附考》も完成した。1927年,皇朝秘笈(こうちょうひきゅう)刊行会が《神祇史料》《神祇史料附考》を合わせて刊行した。
